The UK-German Study Visit Scholarship 2026 in UK is a fully funded professional development programme for teachers. This programme is organised by UK-German Connection in collaboration with LFEE. It aims to strengthen international collaboration between schools and share best practices in teaching and learning. The study visit takes place in Wales from 25 to 27 June 2026, offering a short but intensive exchange experience.

UK-German Study Visit Eligibility Criteria
  • Teachers based in the UK
  • Work in primary, secondary, or SEN schools
  • No active UK-German school partnership
  • Open to all subject teachers
  • German language skills not required
  • School does not need to offer German as a subject
  • Full and active support of Headteacher/Principal required

How to Apply for UK-German Study Visit
  1. Submit applications via the online form by 28 April 2026 at 23:59 BST
  2. Ensure you meet all eligibility criteria
  3. Obtain support from your Headteacher/Principal
  4. Attend for the full duration of the study visit (25-27 June 2026)
  5. Successful applicants notified in the week beginning 11 May 2026
