Churchgate Group is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the position of Mailroom Officer at the prestigious World Trade Center Abuja. This is a full-time role based in Abuja (FCT), within the real estate and facilities management sector.
Role Overview
The Mailroom Officer will be responsible for the secure, efficient, and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing mail and parcels within the facility.

The role requires strict adherence to global security protocols, international best practices, and local postal regulations to ensure smooth mailroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the receipt, logging, sorting, and distribution of all incoming mail and parcels, ensuring accuracy in recipient details and timely delivery to designated mailboxes.
They will also notify tenants of parcel arrivals and ensure proper handover with appropriate documentation.
The role includes maintaining secure storage for parcels, including sensitive or high-value items, and ensuring that all deliveries are released only upon proper identification and signature.
Additionally, the Mailroom Officer will manage outgoing mail operations, ensuring items are correctly labeled, processed, and dispatched on schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Facility Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience in mail handling, logistics, or facility operations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and basic computer literacy are required.
