ISN is currently seeking a qualified and proactive professional to join its team as a Field Support Engineer (Rigger).
Job Summary
The Field Support Engineer (Rigger) will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, rigging, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and customer-site equipment. The role involves configuring network hardware, resolving connectivity issues in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and conducting RF site surveys to ensure optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure ISP network equipment, including routers, switches, fibre modems, and wireless/radio devices (e.g., Ubiquiti, MikroTik, and Cambium).
- Conduct site safety checks and risk assessments before and during field operations.
- Perform tower and mast climbing activities while adhering strictly to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, signal degradation, and hardware failures at customer and network sites.
- Support network maintenance activities and ensure service quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an ICT or ISP environment.
- Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA are preferred; tower-climbing certification is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work at heights, travel frequently, and work flexible hours.
- Availability to work weekends when required.
