NNPC Limited/Chevron JV National University Scholarship Awards 2026
Applications are now open for the 2026 NNPC Limited/Chevron Joint Venture National University Scholarship Awards.
The scholarship programme is sponsored by Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), operator of the NNPC Limited/Chevron Joint Venture, and is designed to support academic excellence and promote educational development among Nigerian undergraduate students studying in accredited universities across the country.
The award provides financial support to outstanding students and forms part of Chevron’s commitment to educational advancement and human capital development in Nigeria.
About the Scholarship
The NNPC Limited/Chevron JV National University Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship programme for eligible Nigerian undergraduates.
Selection is based on:
- Academic performance
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) performance
- Verification of submitted information and documents
Applicants must apply through the official scholarship portal and successfully complete all stages of the selection process.

1. Standard Eligibility Category
Applications are open to:
- Full-time Second Year (200 Level) students
- Students admitted during the 2024/2025 academic session
- Students enrolled in accredited Nigerian universities

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a full-time 200 Level student.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Have at least six O’Level credits obtained in one sitting.
2. Special Needs Category (Blind/Visually Impaired Students)
Applications are also open to:
- Full-time 200 Level students with visual impairment enrolled in accredited Nigerian universities.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Provide valid medical certification of visual impairment from a recognised medical institution or government-approved hospital.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Have at least five O’Level credits.

- Applicants should prepare clear scanned copies of the following:
- Recent passport photograph
- School ID Card
- Admission Letter
- Birth Certificate
- O’Level Result
- JAMB Result
- Transcript or signed result for the 2024/2025 academic session
- Local Government Identification Letter
Important Information
- SCHOLASTICA is the official application platform.
- Only applications submitted through the official portal will be considered.
- Applicants will be required to sit for a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Selection will be based on academic performance and CBT results.
- Multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification.
- False information or forged documents will result in disqualification.
- Email applications are not accepted.
- The scholarship is completely free and requires no payment at any stage.
- Current beneficiaries of other International Oil and Gas Company scholarship schemes are not eligible.
- Applicants for the Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship are not eligible to apply for this scheme.
