Applications are now open for the 2026 Deloitte Academy Cyber Security Programme, a 12-month intensive training initiative designed to equip young graduates with the technical skills and practical knowledge needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving Cyber Security and Information Technology industry.
The programme aims to develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals by providing participants with industry-relevant training that prepares them to tackle current and future digital security challenges.
Please note: This is not an employment programme. It is a skills development initiative created to empower talented young graduates with in-demand cybersecurity expertise and improve their employability in the technology sector.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.A., B.Eng., etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit.
- Have at least five (5) credits in WASSCE, NECO, or an equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in one sitting.
- Be 28 years old or younger as of the application date.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to learn new concepts independently.
- Have knowledge of Information Technology, including operating systems, networking, or application development.
- Be familiar with IT systems such as operating systems, applications, databases, and networks.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Added Advantage
The following qualifications and skills will strengthen your application:
- Cybersecurity-related professional certifications.
- Knowledge or experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Implementation of security standards and security operations.
- Network monitoring, incident response, and incident investigation.
- Email security and security analytics.
- Deployment or management of security solutions such as SIEM, NAC, DAM, WAF, NGFW, UTM, and other cybersecurity tools.
