Job Responsibilities
As a Junior Analyst, you will support client projects across various finance and accounting functions, including:
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Analyze financial data and investigate performance variances.
- Organize financial information for client reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Participate in finance and accounting projects across multiple client engagements.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Up to one year of relevant work experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- A strong interest in finance, accounting, and business operations.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Progress toward a professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
