Job Description

Powergas Ebedei Limited is seeking a safety-focused operations professional to join its team. As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNG plant equipment, identifying and reporting abnormalities, and ensuring that procedures are followed at all times.

Because the role involves working with industrial equipment and energy-related operations, safety awareness, attention to detail, discipline, and compliance with established procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNG plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment and plant operations to ensure they are functioning as expected.
• Observe operating conditions and identify unusual readings, sounds, or other signs of abnormal operation.
• Check equipment and facilities for potential faults or unsafe conditions.
• Identify abnormalities during routine field activities.
• Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide accurate information about incidents, faults, and unusual operating conditions.
• Support the relevant team in investigating and resolving operational issues.
• Ensure important observations are properly documented.

Requirements:

• A strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow HSSE requirements consistently.
• An understanding of industrial or plant equipment and the ability to monitor equipment during operations.
• Ability to notice abnormalities, unusual operating conditions, and potential equipment problems.
• Ability to accurately document inspections, operational activities, equipment conditions, and incidents.
•  Ability to work effectively with supervisors and other members of an operations team and communicate operational issues clearly.
