Interns Responsibilities

During the internship, participants will:

  • Support hybrid, virtual, and in-person meetings
  • Assist in managing SharePoint sites and digital repositories
  • Support IT and audiovisual service documentation
  • Help manage ICT assets such as laptops and mobile devices
  • Assist in AI-enabled workplace initiatives
  • Contribute to digital transformation and automation projects
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Support operational improvement activities
  • Assist the Operations and Programme Management Team

Eligibility Criteria for the 2026 WHO Business Operation Internship

  • Open to all nationals.
  • Be enrolled at a recognized university or have graduated within the last 18 months
  • Have completed at least three years of full-time university studies
  • Study one of the following fields:
    • Information Management
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Data and Information Systems
    • Related disciplines
  • Have excellent English language skills
  • German language knowledge is desirable but not mandatory
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrate teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
