Hiring: Quality Assurance Engineer at Tango Brook Technologies Limited


Role Overview

The QA Engineer will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our products and solutions. You will translate business requirements into effective test plans, execute both manual and automated tests, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases, even within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain clear test cases, test scripts, and test data based on functional and technical requirements.
• Interpret and validate acceptance criteria, ensuring all features meet expected outcomes.
• Perform positive and negative testing to confirm product behaviour under varying conditions.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.


• Perform UI testing to confirm that interfaces align with design specifications and deliver expected user experiences.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with developers and Product managers to perform root cause analysis and ensure proper resolution of issues.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, or Cypress).
• Conduct performance, regression, and integration testing across multiple environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and practices.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-deployment verification.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Defect detection rate and resolution time
• Test coverage and effectiveness
• Number of bugs identified before release
• Release quality and post-release defect rate
• Timeliness of test execution and reporting

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc./HND Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA or software testing.
• Exposure to fintech and data systems.
• Basic scripting in Python or JavaScript for automation tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile development practices. • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple testing priorities and deliver under pressure.


Remuneration: 400K monthly net
