The PFMO Programme operates across all 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Nigeria, with officers deployed at the primary healthcare level to monitor fund utilization, track expenditures, verify financial and programmatic data, and support transparent healthcare service delivery.

As the strategic focal point within each state, the State Oversight Lead will supervise PFMO Consultants, ensure operational effectiveness, and support the successful implementation of programme objectives.
Role Overview
The State Oversight Lead will provide leadership and supervision for PFMO Consultants deployed across healthcare facilities within the state.
The role involves ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of accountability, and supporting accurate reporting and data management.
The successful candidate will also serve as a key liaison between PFMO teams, government agencies, and other public health stakeholders, helping to strengthen partnerships and support evidence-based healthcare decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise PFMO Consultants across the state
- Monitor field activities and ensure monthly operational targets are achieved
- Analyze financial and programmatic data to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of healthcare data collected
- Engage with government agencies and health sector stakeholders to strengthen collaboration
- Support transparency, accountability, and improved healthcare service delivery
- Coordinate multiple activities effectively while maintaining high organizational standards

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- An HND or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or a related field
- Strong experience within the public health sector
- Experience managing field-based teams or decentralized programmes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
