Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Accurately input daily financial data into accounting systems and maintain organized financial records.
- Process invoices, verify financial transactions, and ensure proper documentation of all accounting activities.
- Regularly audit bank statements, financial records, and ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and accounting documentation.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation during internal and external audits.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, payments, receipts, and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certifications or ongoing certification programs will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting software.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
