Description:
  1. Ensure effective execution of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between the Bank and service providers for inverters, batteries, and UPS systems across branches and offsite locations.
  2. Manage and coordinate service providers to ensure timely resolution of fault callouts, equipment breakdowns, and technical support requests.
  3. Prepare memos for management approval relating to power systems and facility upgrade projects.
  4. Draft and issue Letters of Purchase Orders (LPOs) for procurement and contract execution with vendors and contractors.
  5. Supervise mechanical services in branch development projects, ensuring compliance with Bank standards and specifications, while maintaining budgetary control.
  6. Assist in evaluating equipment designs and selecting components aligned with lifecycle efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of maintenance.
  7. Conduct routine inspections and performance assessments of inverter and UPS systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with operational standards.
  8. Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of all Bank information, particularly technical data and documentation.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service history, maintenance activities, and vendor performance.
  10. Participate in budgeting and cost estimation for inverter, battery, and UPS upgrades or new installations.
  11. Undertake other relevant assignments and administrative tasks as may be delegated by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • First degree in Engineering etc. higher Degrees/Professional Certifications (an added advantage)
  • Minimum experience: 6 years relevant experience needed

Description:
  1. Participate in all account maintenance activities, i.e. Static/Master Data Maintenance such as creation ofnew accounts and appropriate GL mapping, managing restrictions on accounts as required for product setup or modifications
  2. Handle all account maintenance activities i.e. Static Data Maintenance such as creation of new accounts and appropriate GL mapping, managing restrictions on accounts, and proper monitoring to ensure that accounts have the appropriate restrictions
  3. Cocreate Product Papers, Business Requirement Documents and User Story Document and document accounting entries and accounting procedures for products and processes
  4. Participate in Controlled Live Test and User Acceptance Test sessions and reviewing accounting entries to prevent post implementation issues.
  5. Follow up with product and technology teams to ensure that exceptions and errors are dealt with on an accurate and timely basis.
  6. Participate in change control process and ensure Chart of Account standards, GL Control Policy accounting standards and policies, regulatory requirements, tax laws, and all other relevant policies are adhered to.
  7. Proposing accounting, revenue, and other such financial control are subject to controls which ensure completeness and accuracy.
  8. Proposing financial accounting process improvements as may be required
Qualifications and Requirements:

Education
  • Minimum Education: First degree in Applied or Social Sciences, Higher Degree/ professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or its equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum experience: 5 years of relevant banking operations, knowledge of banking products, knowledge of accounting standards and processes, knowledge of banking regulation, from financial services or consulting.
