Are you a recent graduate passionate about digital marketing, email campaigns, and growing innovative brands online? PayOak, a Nigerian fintech platform that provides secure digital escrow services to protect buyers and sellers from online fraud, is looking for a Digital Marketing & Email Marketing Intern to join its Growth & Marketing team.
This 12-month internship offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, customer engagement, and campaign management while working with a fast-growing technology company.
About the Role
As a Digital Marketing & Email Marketing Intern, you will support marketing campaigns across email, social media, and other digital channels. You’ll work closely with the Growth team to help drive user acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness while gaining valuable real-world marketing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and managing email campaigns
- Draft newsletters, onboarding emails, product updates, and customer communications
- Maintain and organize email subscriber lists
- Monitor campaign performance, including open rates and engagement metrics
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Promote PayOak’s products and services across digital channels
- Assist with customer engagement initiatives
- Track campaign performance and prepare reports
Content Creation & Communications
- Create content for email marketing and social media campaigns
- Develop customer-focused messaging and promotional materials
- Support educational content initiatives about PayOak’s services
- Help maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels
Research & Reporting
- Research industry trends, competitors, and marketing opportunities
- Monitor campaign analytics and engagement data
- Prepare reports and share insights with the marketing team
- Recommend ideas for improving campaign performance
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this internship, applicants must:
- Be 30 years old or younger
- Have graduated from a tertiary institution in 2022 or later
- Have successfully completed the NYSC programme
- Be available for the full 12-month internship
