Applications are now open for Women Techsters LaunchPad Cohort 4.0, a free intensive skills training programme designed for female university students across 30 African countries.
The programme is organized by Tech4Dev through the Women Techsters initiative and is focused on helping young women gain foundational knowledge, practical digital skills, and exposure to opportunities in technology and Artificial Intelligence.
This opportunity is open to university students only and is designed to help more women explore careers in tech, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to participate in the digital economy.

About the Programme
Women Techsters LaunchPad is a short, intensive training programme created to introduce female university students to the digital ecosystem and practical AI skills.
The programme is designed to bridge the gender gap in technology by giving young women access to learning, mentorship, industry exposure, and hands-on experience.
Participants will not only learn about technology careers but will also work on a practical portfolio project using AI.
What Participants Will Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Explore career opportunities in technology.
- Use prompt engineering for practical AI tasks.
- Understand vibe coding and other hands-on AI skills.
- Learn internet safety essentials.
- Develop essential growth skills for the tech ecosystem.
- Build their first portfolio project with AI.
