How to Apply for the SCA Laptop Scholarship Cycle 3 (2026 Guide)


The She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship is an initiative to support women and girls pursuing careers or learning paths in technology.

This round of the scholarship is open to women and girls in Adamawa, Ondo, Edo and Ebonyi State Nigeria, not just She Code Africa community members. If you’re passionate about tech but lack access to a personal laptop, this is your chance to apply.

The scholarship is fully funded through a partnership with HP, one of the world’s leading technology companies.

This round of the scholarship opens doors not only to members of the She Code Africa community but also to eligible applicants from FCT Abuja, Enugu State, Osun State, and Bayelsa State in Nigeria, giving wider access to young women passionate about tech.

About She Code Africa

She Code Africa is a pan-African nonprofit organisation on a mission to bridge the gender gap in technology. It strives to equip African girls and women with digital skills, learning opportunities, mentorship, career support, and community networks that help them thrive in tech careers and foster economic independence.

Since its inception in 2016, the organisation has empowered tens of thousands of women and girls across Africa through training programs, bootcamps, workshops, community events, scholarships, and networking opportunities, making it one of the largest women in tech communities on the continent.

What the Laptop Scholarship Is

The Laptop Scholarship is designed to remove a common barrier faced by many aspiring women in tech: lack of access to a personal laptop.

This barrier often limits learners from participating in online courses, virtual classes, practical projects, self-learning, and remote opportunities that require personal computing devices.

The scholarship provides brand-new laptops funded by HP to selected beneficiaries who show a clear interest in technology and explain how having a laptop will help them grow their skills and careers.
